Samson CO2 (or not) to record a group of singers

Hi

I need to record 2 groups of singers - left and right - (5 a side)

I have a set of 2 Samson CO2's, but am not certain whether they are noisy - am having a replacement set coming to compare. I paid £88 for 2.

Are there any other suggestions for this application for a similar price range ?
