Better Than You
K...
I am using Samson 50a monitors with a KLH sub with crossover. It seems that when I record and mix it sounds great on them, but when I play it back on any stereo it has way too much low end. I can only assume that the 50a's are lacking in that frequency. I have heard that the 65a's are a little better in the low end response. Anyone one have any idea what the problem might be, or a better suggestion for monitors in the $400 range?

the 65as are better..i dont use the sub and my mixes come out great...try mixing without the sub and play it back with the sub and see what happens

400 dollars? wharfdale diamond pros or some used event 2020s and a cheap hafler amp.

k...stepped up to the 65a. The difference is night and day. Altough the problem is not totally sovled, it is much better after spending only a little time with them. Don't seem to need the sub with these.
