Sample Rate and kHz?

How much will a sample rate of 96kHz vs. 44.1kHz be in a creating a difference in the quality of sound from one board to another that is less or greater? Or is it something completely different?

Do you mean keyboard? Not sure what you are asking.
 
On studio boards...the VS2400 is said to be 96kHz in the fine print and the VS2000 44.1kHz
 
The preamps and converters Roland puts in their 'studio in a box' units will negate any gain you would get from going to 96k. Save your money.
 
So on mastered CD I created in my machine, would I notice a difference in sound from the VS2000 to the 2480?
 
Nope. All the extra sample rate allows you to do is record sound that you can't hear, your mic probably can't pick up and your speakers can't reproduce.
