same problems, new thread

I have sony music studio 8, a nord lead 2, and a bunch of drum machine samples on my computer. How do I use the midi, and how do I use it to play or record on the computer? I am starting to read about it from the beginner's forums here and elsewhere, but would love some details of how to get stuff going. please help, the more details and the simpler the better.

I understand your desire to do it all at once easy. I was the same way at first. I learned quickly that it is much more productive and learning is much quicker by reading the documentation available, and watching video tutorials. Yes, you can always ask questions here, and we are happy to answer. Spending time figuring out your software 'in use' will get you there much quicker.

To answer your direct question accurately, I would have to read your manual myself. Once again, I mean no offense at all. Just relaying my past experience. Happy learning/recording Jared!
