Hey Joro,

I dig it. I think the mix sounds pretty solid. Is there some sort of tremolo effect on the mandolin, or are my ears just freaking out? Not sure i'm a fan of the mandolin sort of floating around like that.

Are vocals the only thing that's left for the song? A bit hard to judge without them. But I think this song would sound great with some percussion. maybe a shaker or some cajon played like flamenco style, or maybe even some castanets?

overall good though. looking forward to hearing the vocals.
 
Nice, I enjoyed the rich sound of the guitar. Full sounding tune.

santiu....there is not a "tremolo" effect on the mandolins....that's a picking style.....really fricking fast...ya know?
You might be hearing a problem with the first mix....The first mix has some issues with the 2 different mando tracks clashing....I think I fixed that in the second mix which is also posted for A-B comparison.

and yeah...I agree....every tune is better with vox.....hopefully soon...

It's hard to judge it without vocals. The bass may in fact be just fine where it is when you add something else. Right now it seems a bit bare, maybe simple percussion at points like a tambourine.

I'm glad your back to recording, looking forward to a finished product on this.:)

I thought the bass was hot myself.....It'll be corrected on the next mix...hopefully with vox and some percussion.
