Rythm Restore to Alesis SR-16

Hi everyone,

Hope someone can help me out. I was emailed an Alesis SR-16 backup which I would like to restore to my unit. It is in WAV format.. does anyone know how I go about do it? The reference manual doenst seem to be much help with this...

Plug the line out of your sound card into the TAPE socket (mini-jack) at the rear of the unit, press the BACKUP key and use the PAGE keys to navigate the menu to "Load In Tape" (page 4). Press the PLAY key on the SR-16. You should then see the message "Start Tape". Hit play on you PC and when the data is loaded you should see the message "Done" (you may need to fiddle with the volume settings of your sound card if the load fails).
