Running Tascam DP-004 on Wall-Outlet/USB Adapter

The device says "DC IN 5V" on the side. Has anyone figured out if running a standard wall-outlet USB charger works, provided you get the right polarity and the right jack? Seems like it might work, without having to buy Tascam's expensive power supply.

I don't think any type of USB style wall charger is going to have enough amperage (not that I think it would be that much, don't have the specs handy though) to run the DP-004. If you try to run it with too little amperage, you risk burning up both the charger and the Tascam. Spend the $20 and get the right charger so you don't have to worry about it.
