Nice and cool for me man....

It's a bit loud....not a bad thing, but the vocals could come out front just a bit more. You will probably just need to reduce the music some, as the music is loud. Love what's happening...it's got some Industrial crunch, but there is definitely some Hard Rock tones...the guitar is great. Keep it loud, as it nice...good tone, and the notes are cool. Good rhythm....

Good vox man...they are cool. Seem to have just enough drive on them. Drums could probably use a bit more bottom end. The lower sounds are a bit missing. Some low end on the drums might really fill out the tune.

Killer stuff man...I like what you got so far....

Thanks a ton Ed, exactly what im looking for. Got the next two days off work and nothing to do. I agree for sure with everything you mentioned. Will update tomorrow when i can get off these headphones. Thanks again

Hey Gary, love the piano intro. The bass there and probably throughout does sound a bit muddy. I agree with Dogman about the drums too, maybe take a little midrange off the bass guitar and add some bass to the drums. The vox sound a little back, so I'm guessing that'd clean it up. The guitar tones sound very good to me, love that little break around 3:00 too. The whole outro is cool  Good start here man!

Initial listen without cranking out the system, it's almost midnite. :)

Very very cool. The music is done very nicely. The intro is very cool.

The singing style is very cool. Nice FX on the vox, too. :)

The guitar tones are killer tones. Wouldn't change a thing. :)

Are the guitar mic'd or di'd? They sound really really cool. :) I could probably never get them to sound like that. I guess, a lot of it is also setting the amp settings properly. :)

Good guitar tones & excellent riff.
Allseems very well recorded.
I'm not part of that school of vocals myself but they are quite clear & intelligible with a nicely menacing tone.
Lyrics a cool too.
I like the distance vocal effect.
Top Job Gary!!!!!

Snake - Thanks so much for the listen. Yeah now that i can listen on monitors that bass certainly has a lot of mid/boom to it. Thanks again for the comments.

Bigbubba - thanks so much for the listen and comments. I used to mic my guitars but since i've moved into the place im in now i've been using amplitube and trying to make the best of it. I think i got the swing of it, have a few patches I made that I use as a base and work from there. Thanks again for the comments, I know I sent a few patches out at one point if you weren't one and use amplitube I could send you the two I used in here for sure.

RayC - Thanks so much, yeah I think there will be a change in the next few things I post im kinda getting used to growling/being menacing all the time. Might try a few more melodic piano tunes see how it sticks. Thanks again for the kind words.

take care guys, thanks so much. Gives me something to do on my day off

thanks again guys, updated the file to try and make some of the changes you guys suggested

ton of help as always

Cool song. On the bass gtr I'd try a 3 dB Q1 cut @ 150, and a rise of 2 dB @ 5000, also Q1. I just dropped the mp3 into Reaper and did that on the whole mix just now and liked the sound of the bass gtr (though it didn't suit the vocal and gtrs on the mix as a whole).

Tim

What did you use to record the vocals? Maybe it's the mic selection I'm not particularly fond of.

The music is sounding better, and has given more space for the vocals. Now the main vocal sticks out some...seems a bit dry. Maybe eq just some of the mids down a little bit...maybe a bit more vedrb...something to help them sit just s bit more within the mix. I tried to isolate stuff with eq, but had no luck....

Tim - thanks very much, very detailed advice. Can't beat a post like that. Will get right on it.

Ed & JC - agree, the vocals certainly bug me now. I'll try working on them if that doesn't work i planned on redoing them anyway just got a little lazy.

jpw23 - thanks for the listen and comments man

thanks so much guys

It sounds like overall, it is good but could use some more low end fullness to it. Sounds pretty cool though, with that industrial style.

Man, I had given up on Amplitube sounding anything cool. But you've given me another reason to go after it again. I guess the problem is that the Fender Squire doesn't sound clean enough so when the Amplitube stuff works on it, it sounds very muffled mostly. Maybe it's just the way I play. I know in places the sound could be cleaner 'coz of the pickups and stuff but in other places I'm just not playing clean enough. Maybe, I'm just making excuses. :)

Anyhoo, yeah I'd like the plug-in presets to have to work with, sure! I've alreayd used the ones you previously sent me once. :) Just more fun to work with a preset that is set by someone who actually knows the genre. I'm generally in all kinds of genres. As a result, I haven't mastered any, yet. :)

But to get back to the song, man the playing and the vox, and singing and the arrangement is really catchy. I find myself logging in from work just have a listen 'coz I remembered it as a cool tune. :)

So what's the lyrics? :)

Great groove on this. I can't believe amplitube is doing your guitar sound - I never got it sounding that good. The riff is almost early sabbath-like. Nice change down..mix is good too, everything well seperated. Very original, very cool

updated the file again, trying to take all suggestions into mind but i think i need a day or two off from the song at this point

monkeymanx - thanks so much for the comments

coolcat - thanks very much, glad you enjoyed it

bigbubba - i'll pm them to you when i get back home, got called into work yesterday sorry i haven't had the chance to send you the presets yet

Bulls Hit - Thanks, yeah i was kinda forced into making amplitube work for me. Am looking for another option but i'm probably stuck for at least a little while, it's either software or a pod and i already own the software. Thanks again for the comments

Man, sounds really cool. Listening as I type.

I can't believe either that you got Amplitube to sound cool.

The keys are cool.

what else did you use?
the vox & bass sounded great too.,....damn can't believe that guitar work too, amplitube. guitar is perfect for that tune.

the structure and arrangement is top notch even more so, imo. hard to believe thats HR material. wow... damn makes me want to learn how to be a manager and get rich off your ass! hahaha
