rough mix of a new song - looking for help/advice

coolcat thanks so much. The soundcard is a layla 3g. Microphone wise is an at4040. Guitars a les paul, one of the cheaper ones with the p90 pick ups (i think it's p90, i should start paying attention). All drums i use lately have been through reason. Bass is a no name going through amplitube.

I wish man, i never once even entertained the idea of what a manger would be like or even the idea of doing it for a living.

gary - that piano is a great idea - it allows the raunchiness of the guitars to carry on but brings a sense of calm to the atmosphere....
This is a well written, arranged and performed piece of metal. Excellent vocal work. It rocks the listener with a cool groove. I also like the overall "tone" of the mix. I think everything is well balanced and gels together well - not sure what adjective to use, but smooth comes to mind.......it rocks but it's smooth.....

Just checked this out again.. I really like the riffs and arrangement.. very cool
