Hi all,
I'm interested stripping down some of the techno "beat & groove" FX on my Roland XP-30 and using them as rhythm tracks for a few recordings, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to adjust the tempos of these particular sounds. I go in to EDIT the parameters of those particular patches, jog the tempo up and down, and nothing changes. However, when I use "pulsating synth" sounds, those change easily and accordingly.
The manual is not much help. The only listing for Tempo deals with creating arpeggios. I did see something about the keyboard's "internal" tempo in the master settings, but I've altered that, and there's still no effect on the beat & groove sounds.
There's got to be a way to alter this setting. Why have beat patterns on a synth if they are locked into a single tempo?
Any help is greatly appreciated!!
