Roland VS 880ex and burner for sale

Hello

I'm selling my Roland Vs 880ex and the VS CDRII burner
this both come with all the manuels and also the video manuels
the burner comes in a leather case and all the cables. The vs 880ex is in excellent condition with no scratches only a perament marker line on the side, all the buttons are there and in great working condition. I'm offer all of this for $600 plus shipping

That’s a good deal, unfortunately, besides the worsening economy (which may be why this forum has been more active lately), people tend to believe the hype surrounding bit and sampling rates of newer gear. I have a VX880EX myself and was at one time going to sell it until I did a side by side blind comparison with a newer unit with higher rates…I couldn’t tell the difference, other than the price. I’m glad now I didn’t sell it.
 
i'm making the switch to computers so I really don't need it anymore but if I can't find a buyer I might hook it up as a midi controller or something so its not just sitting around collecting dust.
 
It’s easy to synch your VS to a computer, which adds 6 to 8 tracks to what your computer can do. I often lay down first tracks on my VS and then shoot them into my computer via the optical connections. I do this because it’s easy and quick to use the VS which I keep next to my bed in case I get an idea or inspiration. The tracks I shoot to the computer sound like the originals. Anyone who knocks what these little VS’s can do, are doing something wrong. I know for a fact the earlier VS's have been used in movie sound tracks, and sounded very great. Even the effects were used in those movie tracks.
