My bands considering buying one, to do the usual. Click panned hard one way, backing panned hard the other. External trigger to trigger bass drops.

Anyone have any experience with this unit like to offer any thoughts/advice/etc?
 
Don't know what you mean by "the usual".

But using it to trigger bass drops, will definitely work for that.
 
That's exactly how I use mine... Be careful about pad sensitivity settings... Nothing worse than an errant plosive from a bass cab or mic triggering a sample you weren't ready for yet ;)
