Hi all,
I have indeed effectuated a search here, on what is needed, but (unless I have somehow overlooked it) could not find it. Following, is what's needed:
I have use of a Roland RS-5 synth, which I would like to tie in to my Yamaha QY700 MIDI music sequencer. Up to this point I had been using that 'board as a controller, for the onboard sounds of the sequencer - but would now like to incorporate some of the synth's voices into my sequenced works. I am told that it can be done, but I haven't the faintest as to the proper way in which to go about it. If someone wouldn't mind laying out the full hookup for me, I'd be really grateful. In the near future I hope to have the Yamaha Motif ES6 in my possession - which will offer much better sounds, along with a built in sequencer (my brother needs a sequencer, and it's to him that my QY700 will be going). But, in the meantime, the above requested info would be of great help to me.
Thanks
