Roland JV Patch Editing and Windows XP

Anyone have the Roland JV1010 CD??

I lost my CD from my JV-1010 I bought forever ago. I need the user manual that was on it. Can some kind soul please email it to me? If you just want to zip up the whole cd and email it to me that would be awesome. It's impossible to find any of it any more.

Does anyone have an editor/librarian I can use with my JV-1010 and Windiws XP? Emagic went belly up, and apparently nothing I can find will install on XP. If you have something that you're ueing and it works, will you please let me know. Even email it to me or whatever. I'm in a jam and I need a hand!

I tried to install the soundquest demo and it does not work under XP. I'll try the d/l of the second one.

Did you try either an internet search or a search of the Roland Website?.....
When they made the XV5080, they offered a free editor for it. I think they do for some of the other JVs and XVs too. If you can't find it with a search, you may try contacting Roland directly, they should be able to send you the editor.

They did have the sounddiver editor, but apple bought all that and doesnt support anything for PC anymore. My brother just got me a copy of wavequest, but I still need the bank select numbers for the 1010 to do my stuff in Sonar. At least I'm not lost now and I know what I need.

Problem is Roland said they only keep current manuals and you can't get old ones. I'm going to break into my junk closet in the house and hope I put the CD there.

Well that didnt take long. I had put it in my Pod manual. smart.

Anyways, I have my CD, if there is anyone out there who needs the JV1010 cd contents, just send me a pm or email and I'll zip it up and send it to you.

I still can't find the bank select numbers, though, like it has for the 5050 documentation.

it worked thank u a million now to see what thiss baby can do....oh i almost for got i manage a band called riddlefinger and i also am the one who recordes the cd s for them.anyway i put a studio to gether for under $2000.00 and it is as good as pro tools and all the recording is done with motu and cubase.i paid $200.00 for the motu and cubase was free...as soon as i get to the studio i will send u a copy of the single its kind of like black sabbath and ac\dc crushed together.so far 93 copies were sold to date more pending...thank you for the help ,timothy schlier.....
 
hard2 hear i have a q?do u have the actual manual for the roland jv-1010 in pdf or txt file because i dont know how to set the midi to recieve and send so the editor u provided me with could work if so please send the manual to me thanks or if u know how to do it let me know.....or something...
