i auditioned the rolands, and i was quite impressed. well i really liked them, and they do have the capability to go straight into digital. i think im going to go to guitar center and listen to the ps6s, because are they two i can afford, and so far nothing else compares, at all. Does anybody have impressions on these two monitors? I know bruce uses these with the subwoofer, but i dont know of anyone with the rolands - they impressed me.
one final question, are the rolands more expensive because of the D/A converters in them? and are these necessary? i was asking the sales guy if it was worth using the digital ins onthem becuse the D/A converters on my soundcard may be better. also, you wouldnt have to worry about any more travel in the analog realm during the move from card to speaker.
