Rode K2, nice but buzz???

I have just got a Rode K2 which sounds great...but when I plug it in to my Tascam US-122 I get like a hi pitch hum, in my right speaker...head phones or monitors....

it seems to get louder when I log onto Cubase...has anyone got any idea as to what it can be as it is not Really loud but still I would be unable to do a proper recording with this hum....

I am in the UK and on the power supply I have it switched to 230 ...rather than 115 ..I think this is right...?

any help would be cool cheers!, do i need to be taking this back ?

Sorted it...it was the lead from the power box to the soundcard....funny that same lead works fine when plugged rightinto the soundcard with a mic! ...???????
