Hey all! So I am starting to advertise my services and try to "get out there" a little bit. I made a little website thing, but don't have any music to put on it, so I decided to record this. It's a song my ex-band wrote a while back, and I know all of the parts to (minus vocals.. I cant sing for peanuts :)). So give it a listen if you would be so kind, and tell me what you think. If not, thanks for stopping by at least!

I think the bass drum needs to be brought up quite a bit, it seems not really all that present in the mix. And I don't know if I really like the "hollowness" of the snare for this song, that's more personal preference though.

And there seems to be times when the guitar really gets covered up by the drums, before the solo for instance and at a few transition points.

Pretty nice tune though! Just some things I heard^

Thanks Capt Hair! I realize the problems with the kick and snare. I actually lowered the kick substantially before I bounced it, so I will being it back up. As for the snare, I was experimenting with different micing techniques when I recorded this, and thought I liked this position. Now I don't though lol :).

The hard panned guitars are way too low. The mix doesn't sound too bad but it gets pretty monotonous without vocals. It sounds like a track with the vocals removed.

The main guitars sound pretty good, I think it has potential.
