RNP Wiring with Audiophile2496

I'm using the 57 and an Audiophile 2496 sound card which has two RCA inputs (Left and right). I connect the mic to one of the inputs of the RNP then use a wire with a mono 1/4 inch end and the other end has rca ends. Here's a pic:

Is that the best way to connect the RNP to my sound card? I'm guessing my wiring has something to do with the tone I'm getting.

what's wrong with the tone your getting? I can't think of any other way to connect that, except a 1/4" trs to RCA cable with either the + or - disconnected.

Are your 2496 inputs +4 or -10? The RNP's line outputs are +4.
