Rnc???

For as long as I have been recording at home...i should probably know the answer to this....but....

In several threads, I have seen people talking about RNC. This has almost always been when they were talking about the DMP3. Im am about the get a DMP3 and I guess I need to know what the RNC is incase its something I need to get with it.

RNC is a compressor made by FMR Audio. RNC stands for Really Nice Compressor. It has nothing to do with the DMP3 so you don't need to get it.
 
Allegedly, Mercenary will be releasing the RMFNC at some point also - Likley BALANCED, probably able to work in dual mono - At least that's what I gather from the "buzz" over the last several months...
 
well...along with the DMP3 I will be purchasing a compressor. I was thinking about the Alesis 3630 but after a few bad reviews here on HR, Im thinking otherwise. Any suggestions on an alternative?

I hope this doesn't count as hijacking but what is DMP3?
 
take a look at the RNC....a lot of people here like it. I like dbx's hardware and focusrite stuff if you can afford it.
 
i want to stay around the cost of the 3630....is it comparable?
 
The RNC goes for around 175 pezzutos, plus shipping, unless you can get free shipping.
It's a nice box for the money.
