You guys think I would need a preamp if I was to buy a RME fireface 400 into a shure ksm32 or the preamp inside the RME 400 is good and do you guys think would get close to a demo quality? Im mostly using it for vocals

I'm pretty sure you plug the mic into the interface not the other way around.

It will be fine. Weather or not it's "demo" quality depends on you and how you use it. The mic and the fireface can get the job done.

I would start with that and not worry about adding different preamps at the moment. Get your room and monitoring under control and start learning the craft. Eventually you will grow into more expensive preamps but you need to develop your hearing first and that takes time. An old saying "your ears will tell you when it's time to upgrade."

I am 110% sure that the preamps in the FF400 will produce demo quality and better recordings.

Set her up and hit 'Record'!
