Hey Dr., thought I'd start a new thread on your mp3's. Might help people get to them easier. That other thread is fun and long, but I'm afraid some of the url's will get overlooked, and some of the references could get buriied.

I was thinking, about two minutes into each of these songs, how cool it would sound to put some vocal smaples in there. Maybe with one catch-phrase repeated every so often. I like hearing that in this kind of music. I was thinking movie dialogue samples, so I'm not sure you'd be able to post them on mp3, and it would cause some publishing issues, but it would sure be a nice addition to give these tracks some vocal dynamics, given that the tracks stand alone so well without actualy vocal melodies. In fact, while I listened, I was running through cool movie lines in my head. (but hey, that's just me.)
I was also thinking right off that these tracks would make awesome soundtrack music. I don't know if you're a movie fan, but try to check out the movie "Entrophy." The soundtrack is realy cool and reminds me a lot of your stuff (a little more agrresive, though). Another movie you should check out is "Run Lola Run." Also a really great soundtrack, really inspiring.
I get inspired by film and soundtracks a lot. I think you'd really get off on these two films (the music anyway....actually, "Run Lola Run" is probably the coolest movie, ingeneral, you'll see for a long time.
Nice work.I don't know why they're "throwaway" tracks.
In "Quench," is the rythm all drum machine? Or are there samples in there, too. If it's all drum machine, what drum machine are you using. I really like the tone onf the grooves.
