Rice Krispies during playback.....Any help appreciated.

also forums with lots of nice experienced folks that helped me greatly in the past.

gstring as others on here have noted. the pg manuals are pretty damn good.
when your set up if you feel powertracks is for you. just ask for tips.
ive got lots of devious tricks i use in powertracks to help that arent immediately apparent as its so deep. so - just ask.
it'll keep you busy for a long time as will biab.

thanks, Manning1. I haven't had A chance to do anything yet. I bought some PCs at the auction. Community colleges are where they come from. I've been toying around with 'em. Bought 16-mostly old DELL's. 32g's of ram, between 6 and 10 gig hard space, 333,s some have 128 ram,Etc.. nothing special but I got the whole lot for about $4.86 per PC.I sold one for $25.00 before I ever left the auction. I think I'll have A yard sale. Let um go for $50.00 apiece. A lot of people want one but can't afford A new one, and these seem to run good W/98 Windows.They have been stripped down to just the OP and drivers. Do you think that is A fair price? You know PC's well, and I want to make A profit, but not cheat anyone either. If someone is interested in what I have for $50, then they probably don't have much money.Know what I mean?...........Peace back to ya.Thanks.....Oh, yeah, they all have monitors, keyboards and a mouse. Some are 17in, some are 15 I think...
 
Oh, by the way, I use Sonar 3. Still learning it though. Thats all I have right now. I'll probably get some mastering software after I learn Sonar.
 
those prices seem fair to me. a used monitor is normally 50 bucks.
you should learn a bit of linux. sell them with a small free linux OS distro on maybe with a free office package and linux web browser.
check out distrowatch.com sometime. also damnsmalllinux.org.
should also be good for midi stuff as well.
 
yeah, my brother is trying to get me to check out Linux. He likes that OP. thanks. I'll let you know what I think.
