this was a battle of the bands type situation... for the bgv they went to the local university and put up an add in the music dept...

That's a very cool idea. Great visual abstract without having to spend a ton on lighting.

I must have went to the wrong university - our battle of the bands, we had 3 30w amps, a tin drum and a PA we had to share with bistro! In the middle of a song you'd hear "No. 27 your mix-grill & chips is ready".

We had lots of Backing vocalist, but the were just the drunk rugby players we couldn't stop getting on stage.

This is great, 1st band, 6 months, lots of promise; you should be proud uncle!
