I just finished some mixing on this track last night. But before I go any further with it, I just wanted to see what you guys thought of the mixing.

FYI, this is the right forum I'm posting in. It doesn't belong in the MP3 Clinic. Read what I'm asking carefully if you can't understand.

New mixes to other tracks will be posted on my site later tonight. So maybe that will give you guys an idea of my musical style. I will post in this thread when I've uploaded them.
 
Lyrics are hilariously bad, but its made worse by them being laid over the rest. It sounds like a backing track, with someones voice slapped on top. Thats where it needs work, level down a bit, bit of eq and reverb to make them sit nicer in the mix. Also you do want this in the MP3 mixing forum.

This is not the right forum for this. It does belong in the mp3 clinic.

This forum is for discussing mixing/mixing down/mastering techniques, equipment, monitor speakers, etc.
 
I love how the views more than doubled so quickly once I got a little irate. Anyways, there was very little layering on that track, so I don't know where you're pulling that one out of. I also don't see why this can't be posted here. You even said "level down, bit of eq and reverb". As far as I know, those are all mixing techniques.
 
I've heard turds plopping in the toilet that sounded better and had more rhythm!
