Why can't I get plain ole reverb on my midi drums in any version of cakewalk? I can get delay or arpeggiator or whatever, but not reverb??? Do i need to buy a special plugin??
B.b.

I don't understand. Simply enable effects on the recorded track. Once the midi drums have been recorded, it is like any other audio track.

actually it not. while still in "midi" format...you can only apply 'midi" effects to it. Once your record your midi, and are satisfied with it, click on that track and "freeze" that track. by freezing it, it will bounce it down to a wave file. once in wave file format, you can apply normal effects like reverb, chorus, delay, etc......

after you freeze/bounce that midi track, you may have to scroll down a bit in your Sonars track displays, cause it will be somewhere down on the bottom .

You can also route the midi-track to the cakewalk dxi synthesizer and apply effects (reverb, chorus... whatever)...

Actually, that is what I meant. :D Once the track has been converted to audio, it is like any other audio track with respect to effects.
