Anyone here know of a free vst, cubase-compatible Reverb unit that's good for ambience and that sort of hushed silence sound after syllables, NOT a room simulation unit. I have a good Room Simulation unit already.

P.S One that's not too complicated to use. Like, no more than five or six elements to control. Preferably three or four.

Which 3 or 4 elements do you want to control?

Not sure of the URL, but if you nip on over to KVR audio (www.kvraudio.com), you'll be able to use their search function to download SIR, which is a freeware convolution reverb which is awesome. You'll have to download impulses for it, but there's loads of great sites - full of Lexi/Quantec/Eventide/real spaces. It's marvellous.

The Kjaerhus classic (free) plugins are a great basic set to have.

Download them all....

Thanks for the help guys.

The Dasample reverb looks pretty good, but if I'm reading right, I have to have SL or higher? That's a problem, cus I only have LE.

Somehow I doubt LE is disabled from using that plug, I could be wrong....

I use it in Cubase SE without a problem. LE should support any VST plug.

yeah ...the support should be either VST or not...unless the VST plugin uses some kinda thing the the LE version just don't come with it..which i doubt it...

You'll be fine. I'm assuming that LE is VST 2.0 compatible. The only reason they put that in there is because some people think that VST's are standalone programs, which they obviously are not. You need a program to run them in. Hence the requirement.

Cubase LE is a higher program than VST 5.1 or SL 1.0 (SL 3.0 is the current engine). Use the plugin or don't use it. I don't care. I'm just telling you it will work.
