Some time ago I read an article in a magazine that specifically explained how to tweak your reverb (I “think” it’s reverb) settings to get this certain effect—i.e. the settings allowed you to play softly (less attack) with your pick-hand to get a quieter (less reverb/less vol) response, and then when you increase your pick-hand attack you get a much greater response (more reverb/more vol)…it’s a very useful effect—one that I’m sure lots of people here would be interested in…here are the reverb parameters that I can adjust—rev time, pre delay, HF damp, low eq, high eq, LP filter, HP filter, and level…
I had the correct settings “saved” at one time, but I lost them when I replaced the memory-battery in the processor…can anyone help?…thanks a bunch.

The only way I know to do that would be to split the signal and run each signal through a noise gate. Set the gates so one sends the quiet signal into a reverb with a short decay time and the other sends louder signals into a reverb with a long decay time. Does your effects box allow you to chain effects and have 2 chains running parallel?

actually Texas, the more I think about it the more I think that noise suppression (threshold and release) and compression (sustain and attack) are also required...I'll keep at it until I figure it out and then post the correct "chain" of effects and the parameter settings...essentially, what takes place is that the processor (proper effects settings) detects the input "level" (either a "soft" pick-hand or a greater "attack" pick-hand), and then adjusts the output accordingly...I'll get busy with it and post the correct chain and settings as soon as I can...later.
