Repeated Sound

I just want to learn how to do this..
Can anyone hear point me to a tutorial?

I cant find a video right now for some strange reason Im having a brain fart

But if you can take this for an example:

If someone says: " Walking My Dog downtown " I would like it to say " Wa-Wa-Walking My Dog downtown "
 
I'd like to help but what are you talking about?

You can't do this by cutting and pasting "Wa" a couple of times at the front of whatever the hell it is you're talking about?

Bit more explanation wouldn't go astray.

So just step up to the mic and say "Wa-Wa-Walking My Dog downtown". :)



Or edit the phrase in a DAW like Armistice said

Or use a delay like RAMI said
 
What I said originally... they've just cut and pasted the start of the vocal at the front end of the line a couple of times so it repeats... simple..

You have to know what you're doing with timing however, so your line doesn't go on too long - but that's not such an issue with rap as it's more spoken word

Yep - soon to end however..... could get quite busy soon and I'll have no time to run from forum to forum posting helpful hints and witty asides...... not before time, then there's the holiday in July coming up as well... (still negotiating with GF about New Hampshire...) - I may have HR withdrawal symptoms... is there a 12 step program? :D
