Hi,

Up until now I've only recorded jazz instrumentals and I don't sing, so your opinion on the vocal chain would be greatly appreciated.

I used a U87 on Vox to a Dav preamp and used the internal processing of the 32xd for mixing and comp-eq-effects. I know the vocalist is a little pitchy so I will have her re-due the take next session.

Need some input on the vocal compression eq and effects, please.

I did and it doesnt work.:confused:
 
It's not too bad. I'd de-ess some, and work on the verb. It's got a fairly high pitched ring to it.

@ about 2:00 the vocals get pretty harsh.

The whole mix sounds over-compressed.

That's about all I have.

Oh - and if you add the www. the link works fine.

I couldn't get it to work either, try this site:

I A C site must be band at HomeRecording because every time I post my music from there it comes up with ******* and no one can link to it.
