Remix (does this song suck?)

Hi,
I tried remixing this song, but it might suck anyway. I think I improved the mix in some ways, but I don't know. Any feedback on whether this is any good or not would be great. Curious on not only the recording, but how the song comes off, that is, what kinda music does this seem like. Feel free to be brutal (I think).

1:50... maybe add 2-3 dB to 1kHz-5kHz to the guitar lead, just to make it more pronounced.

Otherwise, this song is MIXED perfectly.

(I think doubletime acoustic plucking would be more appropriate, but that's style...)

This is a really good song, a great exploration in pop chord theory/history. And recorded REALLY well!
 
Thanks Kelly, for the good review and tips. So you're saying it doesn't suck! I was/am really going through that thing where you work on something, trying to apply all those concepts like subtractive EQ and stuff, and then, at the end, thinking, this isn't turning out anyway. Not only that the song isn't any good, but then I'll compare the recording to a CD, and think, shit, what is the deal?!? Mine seems so much smaller sounding. Anyway, thanks alot for taking the time to listen. (Btw, when you say doubletime picking, do you mean twice as fast? Don't think I could do it. )
