Hi all,

It's been a while, I've done a remix of a tune that I think holds a lot of promise and I've recorded it I don't know how many times, but I never felt I got it really right. Wrote it originally in 1991! Now I have a version I'm really pleased with.

It's now called "Enjoy every sandwich". Hope you like it! It's actually more than a remix, it's a re-recording. But it's very different in style from the last attempt.

Very good recording quality. I listened to this back-to-back with the previous version you posted last summer. I kind of liked the energy and in-your-face sound of the original but I also like the high fidelity of this version and that it's less synth-based.

Very good sounds Madmush....this is a great mix. Everything is pretty clean. Seems everything sits very well in the mix. Nice job man.... :D

tim, dogman, thanks friends! :)

i was hoping to score a "proper" reggae this time.....it's got some classic reggae elements in it....you can smell the marijuana :D less original than the original version, but hitting harder....i love reggae, the whole culture around it kinda makes me laugh though (not maliciously), so I'm poking a little fun at it.....they talk funny..... "a wotta goin ooohn?"...."...jah-maker, maaaahn...."...heaps of jamaicans where i live.....

....also, i wanted to make it sound "authentic", cuz i got annoyed when some guy labelled another reggae of mine "faux compared to the high standards of reggae", "white man's reggae".....saying "this guy is far from the islands"...

That certainly is a fun mix. Wonder if it will keep the island men happy.

You know, I'm still voting for the original "energy" mix though. That's because it's early morning at work and I need some :) These days there just aren't enough songs with wild monkey screams in them.

Have fun
