reel to rell not workin'

i bought an old tascam reel-to-reel (4 track) a few months back. i don't remember the model number right now.

i use it by recording first on the reel and then transfering the track into my daw. recently, though the tracks i transfer into digital will gradually slow down so that by the end of the song the track is totaly off beat. this didn't used to happen.

anybody know how i can fix this? i know virtually nothing about these types of recorders...
