REDWATER is my band. I play guitar and I recorded, mixed, and mastered it. It is the first 4 tunes.

We all worked really hard on this. Been driving me nuts!

So they are up...have a listen...don't hate...hehe

Do I have to do favours? I worked so hard on it...many days & nights of tearing my hair out! haha. I'm the guitar player as well...so i'm biased...

Do I have to do favours?

Yes, you have to. :D

...

OK, I'm not into this kind of music... but I like the mix, especially the guitars . You have put your blood on it, uh? In "Good and bad" the guitars are great but on "Holding onto Home" I feel something unbalanced...

Something else? Nice panning of the drum section. Toms are too high for my taste but maybe that is what you're looking for, something that hits on your face.

Good job, man. Some of the sounds are too "raw" for my tastes. But the drums sound good, and the mix is good. Everything's well balanced.

Sounds like a good mix, although Myspace isn't ideal for posting music. It actually sounds a little flat, but I'm assuming that's the Myspace effect at work.

Holding on to Home is my favorite song, but I think the recording isn't as good as the others. The vocals could use some doubling in the chorus, and the lead guitar sounds a little thin (maybe add a touch of reverb)? But its a really good song.

The other songs are ok... this is the sort of music that would sound great live, but I probably wouldn't buy or put on the CD player. The changes are a little too predictable, the melodies not catchy enough. Definitely a Guns/Roses and Alice in Chains influence.

hehe! That is good! hear what you want! We work REALLY hard and just do it for the right reasons....

More plays????

I think the guitar sounds great but the kick sounds woofy and amateurish. Man the guitars do sound good haha. The vocals sound good performance wise but there seems to be something missing. Maybe too midrangy? Im not really sure they just sound kinda dull to me.

Sounds good! Sounds like you put a lot of work into it. WELL DONE!:)

Still check um out please!

I am very proud of these mixes...this is years, a culmanation of tons of hours and experiences...

For as long as I played guitar (11 years), I got into recording. I am all self taught. I always wanted to be in a band, and record that said band on my own....After years of dead ends--I finally found my perfect band and feel so honered to be creating music with them! I always wanted this.

So many recordings and practices later...here I am. All my experience thus far has brought these 4 songs. Our EP.

Anyone relate?

Any new takers? I give out kisses!!!!

......and I won't tell.......;):cool::D

Leave you some comments on your MySpace.

By the way, I've seen you're not posting on other people's threats... that's the essence of HR. Luck.

That stuff is cool and organic and just plain good.

Man, I was lucky enough to be in the same band for 15 years. I'd been in enough shitty bands to be really grateful when I hooked up with 3 other people who had the same taste, attitude, maturity, and P.A. :D

Don't let this go without a fight. Actually, try not to fight...bands last longer that way.

Thank you so much! Organic is what I like to hear!

Thanks for the advice...we are going through a hard time now...but I can't let it fall apart.

The end will come.

Rock will continue to expand and fracture. It will spiral out in almost infinite dilution until, unable to support its own corporate weight and the onanistic chase for the next big thing, it will collapse upon its own malaise.

And in the gaping, silent void, it will begin. An electric hum. A barely audible throb of bass. And then, in an explosion of fire and soul, a plaintive wail born of a bursting heart rushing forward to remake the world. All that came before will be naught but a vague ache in the collective unconscious, and finally, in this fleeting moment of abject purity, the time will be right.

The time is now.

The band is Redwater.
