reducing noise

ok not sure this is where this needs to be but i will put it here anyways. i use audacity and run my sound system through my computer. the question i have is my wife uses cassette accompaments that she sings to at church and other functions. my question is what is the best method to get rid of the cassette static noise on recordings. any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated. thanks
