Just one other thing that hasn't been mentioned yet.

Wasn't there some chorus on the original overall vocal tracks???... or was that just a mild, unintended phasing issue?

I'm going by memory here.... I haven't heard the original in quite a while.

I'm going by memory here.... I haven't heard the original in quite a while.

That was phasing, which worked out great in the original. To duplicate it quickly (and cheaply), I bounced the main vocal and two of the harmonies to another group of tracks and slipped them slightly to get that "chorus/phasey" original sound.
