And I would LOVE to know how you arrived at the idea that I was an elitist. I certainly do not own a multi-million dollar facility. What I HAVE done is made the mistake of buying cheap gear and am trying to help others avoid the same mistake.

well, really my problem is this: the few times i've bumped into you around here, i've had way too much to drink and you say something that just gets my goat. simple as that. my ego really isn't fragile, i'm just trigger-happy when i'm drinking and don't get along well with other dicks.

so consider this an apology--although really, you should probably keep snide comments outside of the newbie threads. come on, man. you could "help people out" in a much more pleasant manner. and as for cheap gear, we all need to start somewhere. when you want to record music, cheap gear is better than none at all.

and for the record, never did i suspect that you had an ounce of wealth, wisdom, or wonder-womanism. just the woman part. the rest was sarcastic. :cool: beeyatch.

I went to the music store and all i need is a set of mics, some clips and stands, and the mixing box with included software. And i needed a firewire port on my comp. So im getting a new PCI card with 2 in it. Then im set.

If you didn't plan on listening to people with experience and knowledge why even ask? Do the people in the store have a studio where they frequently record?
