Recording with Pro Tools 6

G'day
I'am an extreme begginer with Pro Tools...Once I create a new project and a new track (Audio 1) everything records perfectly but when I create another track (Audio 2) to record with track 1 after I arm it for recording it does not pick anything up!!
Im using an M-Audio Delta 44 so I have 4 inputs and outputs, and if anyone could explain to me how to get each track to an input, that would be handy aswell

You need to change your input on your second track to the input you were using for track 1.

Yup, go to your 'mixer' and change the input source

Oh ok, so now how do i add vst effects to my recordings because i got Guitar rig 2 and im hoping to use it as a vst plugin.

You'll need to either install the VST to RTAS wrapper from FXpansion or install the RTAS version of Guitar Rig. Once you get that, you'll pull down your insert window which is near the top of your mixer in the mixer screen.
