hi, i have some questions about recording through my computer.
i plan on useing a good sound card, a 10 channel mixer, the sonar program and some good mics to record in my basement. im getting tips on the actual recording with sound isolation etc. but one main question i need answered is about the sound card to use to record a good amount of channels simulteniously (at least 10, but more if i need it) that i can plug a mixer into with mics going into the mixer and if i need preamps etc. hear are the products in question...
Behringer Eurorack MXB1002 10-Channel Mixer
Soundblaster Audigy 2 Sound Card
(mainly) Shure SM57 Mics
does anyone know the compatibility of these things? and if anyone can suggest something better for around the same price, that would be helpful.
