Recording Software Advice???

I just figured out my earlier issue, which I wasn't aware of. I have been running 2 Presonus Firepods with Cubase LE 4 for some time with pretty good luck. I just recently purchased another Firepod to add more channel capabilities. I know now that my cubase will only support 16 input busses. I was just looking for some input on what software that would give me the option of 24 input bus channels. Any recommendations out there? Thank You!

Dual core processor
3g of ram
Windows Vista 32bit

If you're used to Cubase, just upgrade from LE and you'll be good to go. Pretty much any full featured program will expand beyong the 16 track limitation. Asking for recommendations in these forums will bring examples of every DAW out there... Not really a bad thing and you can get some ideas of hands-on experience from some real talented engineers, but the 'Search' feature can accomplish that as well.
(BTW... I use Sonar X2)

You're cheating yourself if you don't try out Reaper. (the demo is fully functional; try it out.)
I went from Cubase to Reaper and never looked back.

How are you running two audio interfaces into one machine? I've never seen anyone manage that before.

as regards DAW's, I'd recommend Reaper to anyone - and if you look around on this forum a bit, you'll see plenty of other endorsements for it

A lot of firewire interfaces can be chained together. Presonus Firepod being one of them.

If a manufacturer writes their drivers properly, multiple interfaces from the same manufacturer can run under one asio instance of their drivers as one virtual box.

I run a Motu828mkII and they allow up to >four< boxes on the chain to run under one driver, giving upwards of 90 simultaneous i/os....
