After I make my mix on the turntables and I adjust the eqs and normalize it and stuff, I burn it on to a cd and when I listen to it, it does not sound like it did on the computer, is there a way or a program you can use to know what it sounds like when you burn it on a cd? thanx in advance.

1. What are you using to record into the computer?

2. What is the difference (that makes it sound different). i.e., could it be just the differences in the speakers you're listening on?

i am using an audiophile 2496 to record and I am listening to the mix using my headphone from the Soundblaster live platinum live drive.

How does it sound different. That bit of info, might just help anyone to give you any suggestions.

it doesnt sound as clear and the way i adjusted the eq's. The eq's i had set on the computer sounded diffrent from the cd

if you are listening to the file on the computer and the CD using the same headphones, speakers, or monitors, they should sound the same......if you are recording with headphones and then going play the CD on a different system (just an example) they may sound different.....
