Please give me some solution for my recording trouble useing cakewalk 9.0
My PC config is PII 300,128m ram,win98 with a Egosys waveterminal 2496 sound card.
My recording step is use my shure sm57 mic to record that record the guitar sound through the guitar amp.The sm57 mic are connected to the foxtex 4 track recorder so as to have a high output and the foxtex are line out to the soundcard input.
My problem is after record the drum track(programming). It is ok and sound no problem. Then i record the guitar part on track 2.The sound significant got a little bit slower around 2 minutes(my song about 4 minutes) later and finally the guitar part are not match with the drum track when i finished the recording and listen to it.I have listen to the drum track very carefully during my recording of my guitar and sure that it is not the problem of my playing.I use 24 bit to record both and my harddisk space more than 1.5 g.I have already defrang and scan the harddisk.also I havent install any game and the win98 are newly installed only some recording tool and plugin are installed.
So,anyone can give me some solution for my problem or have experienced on this. Please help me for my problem. Thanks a lot.

First I will assume that your drumtrack is MIDI.
Go to the Options/Audio popup menu. Under the device profiles tab, make sure the box labeled "use wave out position for timing" is checked.
Under the General tab, make sure that the playback & record timing masters agree with your soundcard.
Lastly, go to the Advanced tab and under the sync section, make sure "full chase lock" is selected.
This should cure the problem.
