I have a firepod, I have a lot of software and plug-ins. I need a system for a decent price that will handle everything I need. I'm looking to record bands. What do you recommend, what are the good specs on a computer that is ideal for recording

Are you wanting to stay in one place, like with a desktop PC, or are you wanting to be mobile, like with a laptop pc???

What type of price range are you in? I run a Firepod with Logic Express on a Power Mac Dual 2.3 GHz G5 with 2.5 GB of RAM. This machine is more than enough for me but not at all easy to lug around.

I think you should specify the price range and portability needs and then go from there.

price range, whatever will suit my needs at a good price, I want something that isn't mobile. Thanks
