Hey I'm a total noob when it comes to recording especially mixing vocals. I just recorded a song and everything except the vocals sounds pretty descent. Can anybody give me some helpful pointers regarding recording, mixing, and eq-ing vocals? I'm going for a hard alternative rock feel. If its helpful I can send you the recording of what I have right now (instruments) via e-mail. I'd greatly appreciate if you could give me numbers (e.g. eq, reverb settings, compressor settings, etc.). Thanks!!!:)

blending vocals

although there are some presets....in the end it all depend on the vocals themselves.
presets will get you in a general majority area.

check your PM's (private messages)
