You could probably make you're own with a piece of glass that you paint red on the inside with car engine paint (resists heat and comes in nice reds) and mask the lettering before you spray it. Mount it in a box with a 15W bulb. That's what I'd do. The paint will stink for a few months but hey the fumes might inspire some great music.

i have am even less expensive idea: tell your wife to keep her and your fucking children out of the studio when you're in there.

The cheapest is one of those red CFL lights. Three bucks, I mean, c'mon..... and it still doesn't keep the kids out....
