Recording in Nuendo..Stereo Pan Law..HELP

i checked in the help area of Nuendo to see if it would give me a better understanding, but it didnt say nothing...so if someone could help, Wut does it do?and what should it be set at?because right now the Project automatically sets it at -3 and -6db

The pan law governs whether your panning emulates a console or not. set it for -6 and forget it. There is an explanation in the manual.
