hey,
I'm running cubase sx 1.0, and use the Edirol UA-700 USB interface (connected to my PC through USB). the problem is that I can't record anything.
I've selected the UA-700 driver in the device setup, anything that is played from within cubase can be heard through the interface (e.g. an imported wave file, or a vst instrument), but when I plug my guitar into the UA-700 no signal is coming in in Cubase (I do hear what I'm playing when I switch on the monitor function in the track) but there's no signal coming in.
the VST inputs are set to UA-700 Wave L and R.
when I use another application, like e.g. Soundforge I can record without problem, so it has to be a setting in Cubase???
anyone who can help me??
