alright, ultra newb in the house......
the program i am using is Cool Edit 2.0 and my soundcard is an Audiophile USB.
anyways, here is my situation. when i want to record a sample into my computer, i can't hear the noise coming in until i stop the recording and play it over. i check off that i want to monitor the sound but i still can't hear it. the control panel for the soudcard doesn't seem to hold the answer. can someone help me out please. i can't even seem to get my home recording experience off the ground. cheers
