Hi all,
I am a newbie to recording having recently bought a Tascam Dp-32. I've been messing around recording a guitar track. The guitar amp is an Orange Tiny and I'm running a lead driectly from the amp into the dp-32.. The problem I'm having is that the first strum of the guitar sounds muted. It's being picked up ok after that, but if there is a pause in the guiatar, when it kicks back in it is once again muted. Thought it mght be the lead so I've swapped it out a couple of times and messed around with having 2 or 4 valves switched on, on the amp. Still the same. It all sounds good apart from that muted first strum..It sounds like the signal is taking a mico second to make its way to the Dp-32..
Any advice appreciated.
