Recording from MIDI with cool edit

How can i record notes i play on my MIDI keyboard onto Cool edit?

Sorry, you can't. Cool will play back midi, but it won't record midi.

Plug it into your soundcard. If your keyboard has a line out, as in audio, not midi, cool will record the audio through your sound card then you can play it back and edit at will.

But like dobro said, cool does not play back midi.
