Ha! OK, now that I've gotten your attention...
I know I've posted this twice already on here, but, I REALLY NEED to sell this thing! So, if you would, PLEASE go here and at least consider it if you're in the market for a console and can afford it:

http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1454827818

Thinking about replacing your Mackie 8-Bus or Soundcraft Ghost with the next step up? This is it! Now's your chance! And you can do it without having to worry if a few channels are bad or spending all the money and/or time replacing all those old leaky capacitors as you would with an old used console!

Ed said he'd replace his Ghost with it! OK, no, he didn't at all! Just someone e-mail me with a question or e-mail your best offer! Just give me some-sort of e-mail on it... OK, so much for all that advertising mumbo-jumbo I was doing in this post (even did a classic "quote a pro" ad thing that never was never said)! Could NEVER be a salesman as you can see... So, I'm trying the "desperate" approach! PLEASE!

Dammit RE...

You're giving me something to think about here... and my budget doesn't like you!!!

what are the dimensions of the unit?

Bruce

It's A Very Nice Console...

Bruce,

The dimentions are roughly 3' in length and no more than 2.5' in depth... World's smallest 24 buss...

Really though, it is a nice console that has barley been used. And that Eq really is that classic Trident type; so no more really thinking about it as you do on your Mackie.

Just so you know, the reserve on E-Bay is $8500... And it really did sell for $14,000 new (street, not list). Plus, you don't have to worry about shipping costs since you're in the US.

Also, what is really nice is that you have two people you can go to when you have a question about the console. Alan Hyatt of PMI Audio I called many times and he helped a lot. Also, Malcolm Toft, the actual British designer of the console and the classic Tridents. I have his e-mail address, and at one point, he actually called all the way from London to answer my questions! Talk about service! It was just routing questions, but who better to ask than the designer himself.

Just more cheesy-ball salesman stuff as you can see, but to be straight-up forward, it's a damn nice console for a damn nice price, IMHO. That's why I bought it... It even cost me more as well as a driving trip to Southern CA!

Ummm...

If you would have asked awhile ago, I really would have considered layaway... But now, this thing needs to go!

Let me crunch some numbers....... I am actually in Canada, not the US... so shipping and tax could be a big factor (well, not shipping, but certainly taxes/duties)....

I'll get back to ya.......

Bruce

Oh

Well, if it's too big of a factor, I'd be willing to help pay for some of that... Maybe even half... Who knows...

But I'm glad you're at least considering it...

Thank You, Bruce.

If you would have sold this 6 months ago or in 6 months I'd buy it in a heart beat. $$$ flow is very low right now. Damn my spending!!!!

Oh Man

I was just saying... Isn't that ALWAYS the way it is? Happens to me ALL the time!

RE
When you get it, you have to let me/us know how the davisound is.

Sure Will!

It won't be for another 9 months to a year, but the sooner I sell this 924, the sooner the DaviSound console.

One decent sized down-payment and subsequent payments after that, anyone?

After 3 years? But then again, the seller hasn't been seen here for about 12 months either.

I was over there two weeks ago, and the seller is alive and well. His day job is eating him alive, and the remaining time is spent in the studio with his clients.
